Opposition of data centre 5kms from my house

I am writing to inform you that I oppose the Beacon Heartland AI data centre that's proposed east of Gibbons AB.  This facility will be heard for miles. The noise from the centre will be a detriment to all living things, people and animals. The sounds will penetrate our walls and interrupt our lives...

the night skies will be tainted with the glow from the centre.  No more stars to see, just the glow from the continuously operating centre. They will need lots of electricity...so they will have their own power plant, that will be operating 24/7.    More noise coming our way.  And it will never cease.  

The amount of water needed to operate this centre exceeds the amount of water we have in this community. Tapping into the Sturgeon River will cause problems with wildlife. What happens when that river is nothing more than a trickle?  I dont want to wake up one day and not have running water. To know that the centre may cause that much destruction is mind blowing to me. We do not need a data centre to live.  And I do not want to live by said data centre.  This is a waste of our resources,  a destruction of land and waters.  There is no way, our area can sustain a building of this magnitude for the projected 25years...

How will this centre improve the surroundings? It wont. There is no benefit to having this data centre. No one wants to live this close to a data centre, regardless of the monetary impact it will have for the County.  Sometimes you have to put life (human and animal) before the profit.

I was not consulted for this project.  Nor were my neighbours.  I am opposed to the Beacon AI centre east of Gibbons AB.
