Town of Banff Mountain Avenue Transit Lane and Multi-Use Trail

Town of Banff is proposing to create a transit express lane from the Town of Banff proper ty boundary at the Middle Springs Drive Down to Spray Avenue, whereas three-meter-wide multi-use trail adjacent to the south bound vehicle lane will replace the existing concrete sidewalk and some sections of sidewalk will be expanded in undisturbed area. The objective of the project is to create a bus-only express lane in the downhill, north bound direction for transit buses. The scope of work includes removal of trees, excavation, construction of sidewalks and roads. The proposed work is planned to start on spring - fall, 2024.
